The yellows call him factionist, the saffrons call him terrorist, the reds call him capitalist, but more importantly the poor and farmers of andhra call him the God. Dr.ysr spent the last 5 years doing one of the toughest jobs on earth – cm of ap.
In an era where IT was an obsession and farmers choked to death your visionary irrigation projects and loan/power waiver schemes breathed much needed oxygen to farmers and with it came self-dignity and smile as well. Impact of your healthcare, pension schemes not only changed the life of downtrodden, for one leader vision changed to television, while the other went back to temple for future.
Leading is a hard thing to do because you are forced to make decisions that will lead to both positive and negative outcomes, but i thank you for making those difficult decisions and doing what you believed would be the best for the people of Andhra.
I’ll wait for history to be the final judge of how effective your rule was, but I’d like to take this time to thank you for your hard work, service and congratulate on your stupendous success.
